GBG and Chest & Heart Charity launch new cycling and walking challenge

Guernsey Chest & Heart LBG and the Guernsey Bicycle Group are proud to present to you the 20 in two challenge!

A brand new fundraising initiative that aims to promote the benefits of active travel for personal health and the environment whilst raising funds for their vital work to support islanders with their cardiac health.

After registering on www.gbg.org.gg you will be invited to the Chest & Heart Centre for our launch event on 14th May at 3pm.

Here you will receive your free 20 in two reusable tote bag with everything you need to get started including a voucher for discounted accessories at selected local bicycle shops, your personal tick sheet, advise leaflet, 20 in two stickers and more!

At the Chest & Heart Centre you will have the opportunity to receive a body composition scan courtesy of the Chest & Heart staff. There will be a further opportunity to be scanned at the closing event which will allow you to compare your results and measure the benefits that cycling has provided during this period. Dino's Coffee Bike will also be on hand with refreshments - a portion of every sale will be donated directly to the Chest & Heart LBG.

On the day the GBG committee members will be riding to the event from various locations around the island. You are welcome to join any of us on the ride if you have a specific area you would like to start from please email us at guernseybicyclegroup@gmail.com - nearer the date we will email all participants with details of the start time and location of your cycle to the Chest and Heart Centre.
